Mark Carney in Beijing openly naming a “new world order” is huge. Not politics—structure. Power now follows factories, energy systems & tech supply chains. History breaks at inflection points: 1453 ended one order. 2026 is starting to rhyme. Infrastructure, not narratives, decides what comes next.⚡🔋

South Australia just met all demand with wind — and exported battery power into Victoria. This is a window into our global future, just around the corner. A live grid on renewables + storage. While others debate ‘feasibility,’ SA is already operating the future.⚡ #Solar #Wind #BESS #EnergyTransition

Australia’s grid just passed a brutal heatwave stress test. Jan 7, 2026 hit record demand, yet solar surged at peak, batteries carried the evening, and reliability beat 2019. Not more fossil fuels — clean energy scaled. This is modern resilience, and a sign of what’s coming. 🔋⚡ #Solar #BESS #Energy

China added more grid-scale #BESS in Dec 2025 than the US did all year. One month vs one year. That’s not competition—it’s industrial separation. Batteries are now infrastructure there: cheaper power, tougher grids, faster electrification. The West didn’t fall behind on tech—it stalled on execution.
January 9, 2026 at 10:19 PM
The battery panic is a fossil-era story told to slow a phase change. What actually happens is cost curves fall, cycle life rises, residuals stabilise, and the secondary market strengthens. This isn’t a tech problem anymore — it’s an incumbency problem. #EV #BEV #Lithium #LFP #RIPICE

Petrol is a lifetime subscription you can’t cancel. Over 30–40 years, drivers burn $120k+ at the pump—price shocks, endless fill-ups. EVs flip it: cheap, stable power, home charging, fewer parts, lower upkeep. Run numbers and question isn’t “Can I afford an EV?” It’s “Why keep paying for petrol?”now
January 6, 2026 at 2:25 PM
WTI at ~$57 isn’t cyclical noise—it’s structural decay. Since the 2022 spike, oil failed to reclaim trend, printing lower highs as demand erodes. This isn’t one shock but substitution at scale: EVs, efficiency, electrified transport, heat pumps, rail, and China’s oil intensity falling. Now. #EVs
January 5, 2026 at 11:11 AM
This is scalable, fuel-free energy that compounds year after year. That is centralized, brittle infrastructure tied to volatile fuel, geopolitics, and stranded risk. Electrification isn’t ideology or politics — it’s physics, economics, and momentum. This is the future. This, not that. ⚡🌬️ #Renewables
January 5, 2026 at 10:49 AM
People say reality has a left-wing bias. No — reality has a facts bias. Physics doesn’t negotiate. Economics doesn’t care about ideology. Data doesn’t bend to narratives. Measure costs, energy, health, or climate and the same curves show up. You can argue — reality still collects. #Renewables #EVs
January 5, 2026 at 12:08 AM
This isn’t just the rise of a new energy source—it’s the inverse collapse of the old world order. Solar jumped from 252 GW (2022) to 760 GW (2025) added per year, smashing forecasts. That power feeds EVs, BESS, AI and industry. As energy turns cheap & fuel-free, demand shifts to electrons—not oil!!!

Denmark just hit 90.9% BEV in Nov — +33–36pp YoY vs Nov ’24. Trailing-12-months climbed to 84.2% BEV, up ~28–30pp YoY. That makes Denmark the second country to reach this milestone. This isn’t gradual adoption — it’s a late-stage S-curve snap. ICE isn’t declining anymore; it’s exiting. #RipICE #EV

Pausing data centers is opting out of reality. The horse has bolted — AI compute is here. China gets it: data centers aren’t blocked, they’re disciplined, with ~80% #renewable power mandates. Tie compute to clean energy, storage & grids and it becomes a catalyst — or fight it and get left behind.

The biggest oil exporter on Earth is building massive solar farms and battery grids. Not because they’re green — because it’s cheaper, faster, and smarter. They power themselves with sunlight and sell the oil to you. Mock clean energy all you like — you’re the product funding it. #EVs #Solar #BESS

Merry Christmas 🎄⚡

#Renewables kept scaling, batteries kept getting better, #lithium stayed essential, and #EV sales kept growing faster than expectations. #BESS growth next.

This isn’t ideology anymore — it’s momentum. Here’s to a cleaner, quieter, more resilient future taking shape in real time.

Coal isn’t coming back. Wanting it to is nostalgia for inefficiency and failure.

Coal gets crushed by solar, wind, grids, storage, geothermal & batteries on cost, speed, and scale. Even existing nuclear is cheaper to run.

This isn’t politics or ideology. Coal lost because it’s inferior. #solar
December 24, 2025 at 11:45 PM
China added 500+ TWh of electricity in the past 12 months. Coal fell ~66 TWh.

#Solar delivered ~75% of net growth in both China and the U.S. over the same period.

The difference isn’t direction — it’s speed. China is growing ~4× faster.

Now #BESS is scaling, turning capacity into firm power.

EVs (NEVs) crossed 75M cumulative sales. Against ~1.6B cars globally, that’s ~5% of the fleet.

This is disruption in motion.

What comes next won’t be gradual. The world around us is about to change drastically — energy, transport, oil demand, supply chains.

Once S-curves tip, reality moves fast.⚡
December 18, 2025 at 11:55 AM
Uruguay showing energy realism. Dependent on oil imports, it dropped EV barriers to chase energy autonomy > market answered fast.

Nov ’25: 29.4% BEV vs 2.6% PHEV (TTM: 26.7% vs 1.6%).

Cheap renewables + Chinese BEVs + lithium & BESS crush ICE. Reality wins > markets go straight to BEV. ⚡🔋
December 16, 2025 at 12:06 PM
Let this fact sink in: China is building more nuclear power than the rest of the world combined — and yet, all those reactors will still generate less electricity than the solar China installed in just the first half of this year.

This isn’t ideology. It’s scale, speed, and economics. ☀️⚡ #solar

This hit close. I was in Sydney and almost went to Bondi that afternoon. Ordinary moments shouldn’t turn into tragedies. I hate “thoughts and prayers.” What matters is love — for victims, families, locals, Jewish and Muslim communities alike. Compassion over politics. Take care everyone.

McKibben’s point is directionally right, even if simplified. Fossil fuels dominate global shipping ton-miles. Electrification + renewables don’t just cut CO₂ — they collapse fuel logistics chains. Energy becomes local. Trade shifts, ships don’t vanish — but power does.⚡ #disruption #EnergyTransition

Saying ICE will be “improved” & thriving after 2035 is comedy gold. It’s like promising a better fax machine in the age of quantum internet. EVs, batteries, AI-driven mobility are lapping the old tech & we’re still hearing bedtime stories about “high-efficiency combustion.” Cute. #EVs #FossilFail
December 6, 2025 at 9:16 AM
If you’ve tracked lithium, EVs, AI, solar, China, batteries & renewables for two decades, nothing here is “unbelievable.” It’s the inevitable collision of S-curves, compounding trends and industrial scale. Not surprising — just timely. In truth, this is what the future has been signalling for years.
December 6, 2025 at 2:51 AM
Here is my updated list of global EV mandates — & it only goes to 2035. After that, everything is aspirational. The real shock? This group of binding laws will drive the global collapse of ICE supply chains well before 2035. Market forces will finish the job. #EVs #Lithium #LFP

BESS projects keep getting bigger — and turning up in places nobody expects. Now we’re even seeing 8-hour, multi-GWh batteries paired with gas peakers as transition scaffolding. A strange hybrid on paper, but the tell is in the scale: storage colonising the grid.
