Too much of the world currently relies for its basic functions on resources which must be continuously extracted. You burn that oil one time and oops, now you need more.

Though I have no doubt it will be a Kangaroo Court and Maduro will be "found" to be "guilty", it would be hilarious if after Trump kidnapped a foreign leader to "stand trial" in a US court, that leader got acquitted.
