Book Peeps! Why can’t I find an authoritative review anywhere or purchase from the big library book jobbers? (I searched Kirby’s, Horn Book, SLJ, Mackin, Follett, Permabound, & Bound-to-Stay-Bound)

Super excited to get these new books purchased by our PTSA for my middle school library. They are all diverse titles that feature characters and/or content that reflect my student population!!! Can’t wait to get them into the hands of kids.

Haven’t tracked my reading since required in elementary school. 2024 found me reading 63 books, some 22,628 pages. Does not include the 2 NF books I started in the last few days but won’t finish til next year.

It’s been so much fun helping students find stacks of books to checkout for the long winter break! I even got a shoutout in the school Night Before Winter Break poem 📚💜📚❄️🎄🕎

I rarely participate in the door/pod decorating contests at school, but this year I felt inspired. Also, the kids loved my participation in the Winter Wonderland Day for Spirit Week. Ginger the gingerbread girl is reading “A Book is a Gift You Can Open Again & Again!
