Under President Biden, a 30-day eviction notice rule was made permanent. A new bill would erase it and landlords would be allowed to give tenants in federally-subsidized housing three days’ notice or less before evicting them. @nytimes.com

While in the middle of a housing crisis, software co's are pushing rents higher.

#Evictions are far above historical average in #WashingtonState. New data shows King, Spokane, and Clark Counties saw the highest 12-month count in recorded history. This increase follows gradual lifting of pandemic protections in July 2023 (e.g., #EPRAP & the Eviction Resolution Pilot Program.
