That's a good list of games I have to check out!

As my gaming pc is getting old, I've had to skip some of the newer titles that would otherwise probably gotten a good deal of gaming hours. Most notably Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as the first title is one of my all time favourites.

Other noteworthy games for me this year were Aliens: Dark Descent, Quasimorph and Stoneshard. A:DD was absolutely amazing, captured the Aliens feel perfectly. Although Quasimorph and Stoneshard are still in early access, they still offered hours and hours of (painful, as they both are hard) fun.

the zone (more distant gunfire, radio chatter etc.), I would be truly satisfied. This is the state where the game should have been at the launch.

planned our next session in three weeks, although a few expressed disappointment that nobody had died as they had heard how deadly Mothership can be :D *No they are not all marines: 2 marines, 1 scientist, 1 android, 1 teamster.

They were like a proper Aliens marine squad* as they stepped into the Deep. They explored a bit of the first reception/office level before taking lift to Eden. Readings on the bioscanner got them a bit spooked, but we had to end the session before they encountered anyone. Everyone was excited and we

EotW was a fun small adventure game, with adorable art. Probably gets boring really fast, but for the first two games we all had fun.

Even I've encountered people who tried to convince me that rpgs were plot from the devil, and I don't even live in the US, but in relatively mild country what comes to moral panics.
