Two side by side photos of a woman wearing a costume of gold and turquoise armour inspired by traditional Islamic armour with a connical helmet and a halo mounted on the back of it. Two photos of two different pieces side by side. On the left is a baby triceratops puppet made from latex, posed perched over a tree branch with her mouth open. On the right is a model wearing a prosthetic makeup with horns growing from her head and long curly red hair. A photo of a cosplay of Kassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, posed throwing her spear A photo of a cosplay of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, posed drawing an arrow from her quiver and holding her bow against a backdrop with blue lighting

This would’ve slapped but Ubisoft took the coward’s route and capitulated to racists. A shame.

Extra ironic considering they’ve had two previous Assassin’s Creed releases where you play as a Black character who kills slavers and frees slaves.

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

That's good! Me and my partner are now looking at moving from Spotify to either Tidal or Deezer (Deezer has an explicitly anti-AI policy, not sure about Tidal, haven't looked into it yet)

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

I made some earrings for a cosplay I’ve been slowly working on!

Thank you~

Yeah I finally got out of the habit of feeling like I HAVE to thanks to the lockdowns. I still mask in most public places anyway. Makeup - foundation at least - is a great way to dirty my masks faster than normal in those situations and I rarely wear it now.

Aw thank you!! Been trying to care less about always having to wear makeup when I post photos and videos of myself so this is a big confidence boost 😂
evilcleverdog.bsky.social
Also idk if it’s just how it looks to me but Bsky always seems to make my videos really low quality and blown out. Someone tell me if it looks the same to you all 😭

I 3D modelled the earring pieces and 3D printed them in filament. Then I made silicone moulds of these pieces (I was testing two different sizes for the top section). The final earrings are cast in clear epoxy, tinted with metallic blue powder.

It'll never be lost on me that a particular subset of the liberal commentariat in both North America and Western Europe were deeply infatuated with this woman up until the very moment she decided to talk about that one issue you're still basically not allowed to talk about lol.
