Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."

Y'all, I didn't realize how bad this budget motion in Vancouver was until I watched the Council meeting for the last 15 minutes. It's fundamentally massive austerity sanitized through bureaucracy.

Of note: ABC is not acknowledging their previous commitments to transparency re: providing line items.

Social media is very effective at creating sin-eaters. A sin-eater is different from an ephemeral main-character. It's a recurring "well would you look at that guy" person you see screenshotted on your feed constantly, who is meant to stand in for the evils of some larger group you dislike

America is now one big bet on AI
It’s seen as the magic fix for every threat to the US economy

NEW: breach of Discord age verification data.

Including some users passports & DLs

Age verification is a badly implemented data grab wrapped in a moral panic.

Mark my words, as age verification mandates expand, we'll end up more surveilled and less secure. 1/

ICE admits that up to 50% of arrests in its Chicago raids are "collateral.” These aren't statistics. They are parents taken from their children, neighbors taken from our communities. When does a "collateral" U.S. citizen child's trauma matter? This isn't law enforcement; it's a campaign of terror.
someone isnt familiar with the hot pop stylings of Klava Koka
i am confident that a bunch of weighted matrixes used to naively finish sentences based on statistics are in no measurement "intelligent"

A WILD ONE: A man broke his leg during an arrest by ICE at a car wash south of L.A.

ICE has held him under 24/7 guard at a hospital, registering him under a pseudonym, for *37 days* without telling him why.

A judge has ordered his immediate release.

“Two countries are living on top of each other, one buffered by generators, drivers and imported everything, the other left to negotiate survival in the margins. What’s most unsettling isn’t how shocking it feels, but how routine it is. Just like we speed through intersections without looking.”

The Left continues to think they can mobilize Americans on the principle that "America is bad and has always been bad."
so you are aware that we know completely how they work and that there isn't any magic or "feelings" 🙄🙄

When a president sends troops into American cities to “restore order,” what he’s really doing is testing obedience. Portland and Chicago aren’t war zones…they’re warning shots. Authoritarians don’t announce takeovers. They practice them. One city at a time. However, each practice destroys families.
it's a dangerous shortcut to ascribe human feelings and emotions to machines. I have no need to feel empathy with a next token generator, and wouldn't want others to either. same reason one should always kick those stupid delivery bots.
stop anthropomorphizing machines
