Kim (me) is definitely sick and has less of a filter on. I was so upset with my colleagues saying some of these appointments are a choice. I believe it's our obligation.

I spoke against the amendment. Thompson moves amendment to amendment to try to assuage concerns: "time commitment required per month" to "average time spent per month."

[This whole motion and the discussion is basically directing Council to email the staff how we're getting paid, and then staff are then to put that information into a neat table for the internet.]

Thompson jokingly reports that he already emailed his info to staff, it's so easy.

Amendment passes unanimously. Back to main motion as amended. Loughton amends again to include language: "Council direct staff TO WORK WITH COUNCIL MEMBERS to prepare and publish..." Point is to tell staff this isn't meant to make work for them, it's up to Council.

Loughton steps in saying how easy it is to find information like CRD remuneration online. She just did it, so she finds this whole issue needless.

Coleman says yes but some other orgs it's not so easy.

Coleman asks about organizations' expenses? Staff says CRD already has reporting requirements with all of that, but orgs like GVHA may not have to.

Dell asks staff if that information is already available?

Staff says yes and CRD. Unsure about other orgs, but likely yes for public orgs.
