i think thats limerance actually. ppl rlly dont know the difference between the two, so they think love is the grand swooping feeling of passion and fun, when in reality its just a very, very deep caring. i dont blame ppl for overlapping them, but i generally dont like how ppl see love.

they're all the same thing at the very base of it, just different flavors. and they overlap SO MUCH. but ppl treat it like romantic is so much higher?? even tho it isnt?? i mean yeah its on a different level, but its not the greatest feeling ever. its just love.

and oh my god, i thought for so long the "oh you're young you don't know anything about love!" thing was a load of bs, BUT HOLY FUCK IT'S TRUE. NONE OF MY PEERS HAVE ANY FUCKING CLUE WHAT LOVE EVEN IS. also why do ppl treat romantic love so incredibly differently then platonic or familial love?

like the couple from its a wonderful life? believable. i believe that. but irl??? nah. ppl dont even act like they're in love, love takes immense care and respect, and these people have that sure, but not on the same level as love.
