blanketing familiar paths in thorny brambles and dark leaves
stranding me sleeping
at the center of a new and mystifying maze
so that when i wake
i must learn to navigate myself from scratch
a stranger lost in the labyrinth of my own mind
blanketing familiar paths in thorny brambles and dark leaves
stranding me sleeping
at the center of a new and mystifying maze
so that when i wake
i must learn to navigate myself from scratch
a stranger lost in the labyrinth of my own mind
do I linger, or let the wind take me?
I see the quiet lure of release,
to embrace nothingness.
Some call me to stay,
but does the weight of one wounded heart
outweigh the light brought to many?
If my shadow casts pain,
is it mercy to fade? #poetry #poems
I'm not happy, unless I am with you.
But this goes around, a game of pulling at hearts. There is want, and need, but fear keeps us apart.
Am I the fool? Is this enough? I want you happy, so is it true?
I'm not happy, unless I am with you.
But this goes around, a game of pulling at hearts. There is want, and need, but fear keeps us apart.
Am I the fool? Is this enough? I want you happy, so is it true?
A shell to protect and disguise my fears.
I do a pretty good job.
I think I do. I hope I do, Because the thought that you know and don't care.
A deep sadness that seeps from my soul to linger in the air.
It's the most terrifying thought to have.
A shell to protect and disguise my fears.
I do a pretty good job.
I think I do. I hope I do, Because the thought that you know and don't care.
A deep sadness that seeps from my soul to linger in the air.
It's the most terrifying thought to have.
