This Blackhawks team is pretty scrappy. They’re bad, but also scrappy. Which is a problem because I tend to like those teams, but I can’t on principle like the Blackhawks.

Going into the next NHL season I have no idea where we're "supposed" to post things so we're just gonna cross-post all over the place. The hockey social media landscape is so fragmented, and I still don't really know how to manage that.

i feel bad for the young kids who never had a favorite artist put out a bad album before. it's a tough road to navigate. i went through it with led zeppelin and van halen and incubus. you adapt and move on

I had kind of forgotten about that one. For our model I *think* that contract is removed for lack of prior data to train on since it was signed in 2008 (the models "starts" in 2009), but I'd have to look into it a bit more. Either way that's probably the closest contract to this one.

What a crazy contract. At two years, we projected an extension for McDavid at $12.15M, but that had a 0% likelihood of happening per our model (lol). I don’t think there’s been a contract like this in the modern era.

Regardless, McDavid is clearly a god
