I am unconvinced the widespread availability of pornography is a net social harm, but I accept there are negatives. We have to draw a clear lines over exploitative, non-consensual images of real people, even more so minors. That our government is even hesitating over this is pathetic.

Wessex Water bosses handed £50,000 in extra pay despite Labour govt’s bonus ban.

Ban circumvented as legislation is weak.

The company has 47+ criminal convictions, dumps sewage in rivers, loses 69.8m litres per day to leaks, neglects investment, customers fleeced.

No exec prosecuted.

A breath of fresh air. Clearly, Starmer will do everything he can to block such moves. But this is the moment for the whole trade union movement to re-evaluate its traditional links with a Labour Party which no longer represents working class interests.
As UNISON GS, my central political priority will be defending the working class and improving our lot.

That means wages up above inflation, investment in public services not war, and proper sectoral collective bargaining.

And who was it that made it happen?
Farage and Johnson.
