If you are a trans person who lives in Edgewater/Rogers Park and you go to the beach, please be careful. These dudes had a whole routine. They followed us from a public park and kept sneaking up on us, trying to provoke us into reacting. We only got away because we spotted what was happening.
came as close as i've ever been to getting queer bashed on my way back from the beach yesterday; got cornered by some weird dudes and they made it very clear they would be delighted to hurt us if we gave them a reason
