Is it possible that eating disorders could be tied to the food industries designing nutrient-poor foods to be addictive? And cheap? Could it be that many "foods" are as addictive as some illegal drugs? And the more of these foods you eat, the less nutrients your body receives, hence illnesses?

Going to foreign lands to kill people for god is slightly reminiscent of the Crusades. Wtf? God seems to cause an awful lot of human suffering.

The broken voted him in. The remedy is healing through community with compassion. Embrace those in your circle who have drank the kool-aid. They need your compassion to regain their humanity. We can all make a difference. It is up to us. Ty

People drink the kool-aid when they feel powerless and need a hero. We need to help our neighbors to feel empowered.

I adore David Brooks. I don't idolize him. He's an unperfect human & is the first to claim that. But everytime I hear him speak he is so logical and kind and represents a type that we could all better ourselves a bit by trying to be a bit more like him every day. Thanks David & many, many others!

Let's do a flash mob kinda thing and take 3 or 4 days where no one who dislikes him says or writes his name or references his shenanigans. Would he implode? Might be fun to watch.

I like the holidays for the people part, getting together etc. I'm no longer a fan of Christmas music. Then today coming home from the market my local radio station reminded there is still some joy in this genre and I laughed all the way home. Happy holidays and enjoy!

I've been waiting my whole life to hear good men call out other men who victimize others. I'm finally hearing them shout publicly their anger & disgust. It's about damn time. Maybe things will begin to change. Thank you from the bottom of my shattered heart!

Found some hedgehogs hiding in a stump, surrounded by a bunch more out in the open. I harvested just a few, they are my favorites.

A friend of mine has a brilliant idea; take away all billionaire's money and give them one million each.
Keeping it simple is a proven winner!

I bought a new chair yesterday. First new piece of furniture in a very long time. I love it but it reeks of PFAS! I vacuumed it and it is now covered in a bedspread. We've got to stop using scotch-guard and other PFAS chemicals. I love it but will have to wash it before uncovering it. sigh....

This Prince I chose to harvest. I leave most edible mushrooms where I find them because I don't cook a lot and they do require work. Today I found a Prince that whispered, "take me home." So I did.

This was a few years ago, but tis the season, and this was a wonderful find. I actually left them there, instead of taking them home and enjoying them, because they were just too beautiful. The Prince, Agaricus augustus.
