That subject (based on the same misunderstanding) was also the subject of her dissertation

THAT is how bad she fucked up

Naomi Wolf dissertation prompts criticism of Oxford
The reaction isn't flattering for Wolf or for the University of Oxford, which awarded her a doctorate.

Gotta find the finest biters.

Can't settle for someone who is afraid to really bite hard for their client.

SHOULD WOMEN BE ALLOWED TO TALK? TONIGHT WE ASK A GUY ADDICTED TO BENZOS ABOUT HIS OPINION

I've hear people need to take some personal inconvenience for other people's sake.

Seems like this is exactly the lesson you needed

I walked to school as a kid.

But there were crossing guards at the one single large intersection we crossed going there and back. And there were sidewalks the whole way.

As a country we decided to stop paying for infrastructure and services like that so here's where we are.

Ah yes, kids need to learn to take an inconvenience and yet adults are on here whining about parents driving kids... Why? Like does that even inconvenience you at all? You're triggered by someone else NOT being inconvenienced but you expect a 7 year old to be more mature than you are?
December 16, 2025 at 5:58 PM
As an adult walking my kid to school, I have to literally walk out ahead of her waving my arms just so cars will actually be prepared to fully stop at the stop sign instead of rolling through it like they all do constantly.

They rarely let 6 year olds into the casinos around me
December 16, 2025 at 2:52 PM
And the kids are obsessed with them 😭

Somehow picking out one nice, soft stuffy that they actually like just can't compete with opening a huge plastic ball to get a crappy quality toy that isnt even the one they wanted.

The gift of being disappointed on Christmas morning, marked up 300%

People who live in cold places always think they have the skill of driving in snow.

What we have is *infrastructure designed for snow*

Grew up in snow. Having driven in Texas after a single inch fell and sliding right off the side of the road going 10mph humbled me. No salt or sand? No drive.

"Traffic is already terrible" gosh imagine how much better it would be if we stopped letting so many people drive

My current favorite is "not being able to turn left at a specific intersection is ableist because disabled people need cars to get to the doctor."

My suggestion to limit all car use in the city to the disabled doesn't seem to appeal to them though.

I had big babies and low supply. I would have zero babies if not for formula.

Congrats to all the folks who convinced this rich idiot to pay them $77 b in exchange for delivering nothing.
December 7, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Absolutely.

But unfortunately the cheating spouse narrative seems to be more effective because society still wants to put the blame for unwanted contact on a woman's choices.

But the idea that men naturally sometimes cheat is, well, something everyone accepts just as easily.

I believe the guidance has changed for younger people who have already had shingles. Definitely something to look into again if it's been a long time since you asked

That's tetanus, and you can get it from any wound from a dirty object. Doesn't need to be rusty or metal. It just so happens that a lot of dirty things that cause injuries are metal and outside metal tends to be rusty. That's why it's important to get your vax updated every 10 years regardless
December 5, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Tetanus is found in dust and soil.

If you can keep a kid away from those you're a better parent than I.

Luckily that's a standard childhood vaccination (dtap)

And waiting for marriage and being monogamous only protects you if your partner is also a virgin who never cheats. Are you going to gamble your child's life on the hope that her future spouse never strays?
December 5, 2025 at 3:49 PM
I was 26 and married when it came out.

Asked my doctor for it right away and his response was "you don't need it; you're married"

I demanded it anyway and he gave up.

Guess whose husband cheated on her. A lot. And was divorced 3 years later?

Always get the vaccine.
