I had an excellent time the past two days in Uppsala at the #AMCconference2025! Lots of interesting talks and insightful discussions with lovely colleagues. I am happy about the opportunity to present my work on how archival records of reactors can be used in nuclear verification.

Interesting! I tested some vacation pictures and ChatGPT was able to identify the locations even if the visible features are mostly hills and mountains. Would be interesting to see a comprehensive analysis on which kinds of images work particular well.

Quite an interesting analysis. While not perfect (which geolocation tool is though?), the results for some of the images are strikingly accurate. Particular fascinating to me is that this shows how LLMs, which are generative models, are being used for (not too easy) predictive tasks.
