Does anybody know of research related to this question? Open to studies on other parties where there's a discrepancy between voter base and leadership as well. Thanks!
Query for the polisky community: Does anyone know of research (e.g. psychology) exploring why far-right voters appear "forgiving" of party leaders whose identities or lifestyles contradict their core principles? I am thinking of far-right leaders who are openly LGBTQ+ or who belong to wealthy elites

Late to the #30DayMapChallenge and sadly won’t have the time to participate any further. Nonetheless, I’ll drop these maps, as today’s theme is about conflict. I created them in a seminar about the protection of civilians by the UN in the CAR Data: Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project(ACLED)
