Had a message from my mum to say they have snow and I’m not frantically scanning apps for a potential snow day. This may be best sign yet that changing my job was the right decision

I’m just starting to realise how overworked I was in my old job. It feels like coming out of a pressure cooker into fresh air. So many more possibilities when I’m not constantly at full throttle.

Happy birthday to me! Got my yearly trip to a beer festival today with husband, parents, sister and (newly old enough) nephew number 1. Fairly sure the amount we usually laugh tones your stomach or something.
