Ballad of Wallace Island. Sweet but underdeveloped. There are much worse ways of spending 90 minutes of your life, though.

It’s beginning to feel like Farage is losing Reform as its own thing., and as HIS thing. It’s really just going to be the Tory party under another name soon. How do Labour turned Reform voters feel, I wonder?
It's like watching a doctor remove all the infected organs and wondering if they'll be enough left to allow the uninfected patient to live.

After weeks of faultless fashion and hair choices, Rachel blew it on the final Uncloaked. That dress called for a reprise of one of her beautiful plaited updos. Or an elegant chignon. Anything but that bow. I say this with love, she’s an ICON. #TheTraitorsUK #TheTraitors

Found a fallen branch with exquisite lichen and moss in it. Put it on a wet bench, took a photograph, came home, opened photos app and have been staring at it ever since. Zoom in for instant wellbeing.

Has anyone done the numbers on whether any of these petitions have prompted policy change? Genuine question. I also think people do need to be an aware that all you’re guaranteed is a debate, and that might not even be in the main chamber, but a side room.
🚨BOOM! Now over 90,000 signatures!

The Petition calling for by-elections to be called automatically when MPs defect to another party is getting so close to the 100,000 needed.

Let’s keep going!

CUSTARD BOY
Another subtweet...
A Finnish word for a coward is jänishousu, or “rabbit pants.” A slang Dutch version is papkindje, which means “porridge kid.” And a Turkish phrase for a wimp or coward is muhallebi çocuğu. It means “child of pudding.” Or, if you prefer, you could translate it as “custard boy.”

This also probably belongs here...
A Dutch term for someone who acts tough but is actually a coward is held op sokken. It means “hero on socks.” The phrase originally referred to when, during a confrontation, a phoney tough guy would ditch their noisy clogs so they could retreat quietly in just their socks.

The best way of describing someone who’s all talk and no action that I’ve ever heard in the UK, by far, is “they’re all wardrobe and no Narnia.”

Never fails to make me uncomfortable entering this word into the Spelling Bee. I know it accepts it. I know it doesn’t mean the same in the US. But still, it’s icky.
