This one was always out at my school library!

"Sigh. I guess I'll read KING KONG again."

We are living through this episode, right now.

John Hurt eats up every piece of scenery (and that's not all, haha) as Caligula in this week's I, Claudius, an episode I remain amazed ever aired. Shocking, extraordinary television starring one of my favorite actors. (Gift link!)
'I, Claudius' Episode 9 Recap: I, Caligula - Pop Heist
Tyrants are overgrown children with the hatreds and desires of men, and — whether forcibly taken or freely given — the power of the gods.

I made the same "And they'll remove him from office" mistake in 2017.

I had no idea this is what Theo Von looked like and the fact that someone who looks like this on purpose has influence on how people vote makes me wish for the ape overlords to take over.

After moving in 2024, my wife and I are taking our first visit back to NJ in mid-Oct. We will be driving for two days, the car will be full of stuff AND we'll have our dog with us.

Yet, the same day we're literally passing through Virginia, the Nightmare Alley con has a VERY special guest.

*SIGH*

Bought two BluRays, two VHS tapes, two Laserdiscs, and one Stereodisc today.

Totally! Growing up on classic SNL as I did, I always give movies with that crew and extra point in my head if I see them doing something out of their comfort zone. I’m not remotely objective.

I actually like MEMOIRS a lot. It’s deeply flawed but I think it’s the last time Chevy tried.

Just did my first on stage film intro, for CARRIE at the Tampa Theatre. Was nervous walking out on that stage, but I think it went well and I actually can’t wait to do it again next week!

Post a fictional comedian who definitely would accept an invitation to the Riyadh Comedy Festival.

We thought so. It's got a lot of classic PTA weirdness and comedy, but it's also thrilling and of the moment. I want to see it again, even though it's almost three hours.

This movie will live on, across multiple platforms and media, for decades. It will become one of those movies that shows up in WB clip reels, documentaries, and Oscar highlight reels.
