The Pitt got greenlit for a season 3, out next February, and the announcement has very funny comment from HBO chairman Casey Bloys that’s like “yeah, turns out if you just make a TV show like how we used to make TV shows you can have a 15+ episode season every year 🤷♂️”

I tell my wife A LOT if we ever won the lottery I would open a theater and run nothing but repertory films with me doing little intros for each, plus vintage trailers. Tickets would be like five bucks or something.

I've seen these pictures in a hundred books about that time. Fascinated how Rosemary Radcliffe, while going on to a perfectly fine showbiz career, EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON she worked with went on to be a legend in comedy.

My fav COH story: She was hired in 1981 for SNL. In a meeting w/the new cast, head writer Michael O'Donoghue went on a long rant, insisting they all grab cans of spray paint and write "DANGER" on the walls.
O'Hara thought to herself, "This is silly. Why am I here?" She quit and went back to Canada.
