I'd of course prefer a parliamentary system of government that would shake up the two-party system, but that's neither here nor there.

This is why despite my frustrations with my U.S. Senators, I'm glad they have a proven track record of communicating with rural communities. Agriculture is a core pillar of the state economy, and the merging of the Dems with the Farmer-Labor Party has largely positive ripple effects to this day.

Well, well, if it isn't the consequences of our own actions.

I respect farmers and have come to know some moderate, sensible ones in MN, however the by-in-large rural cycle of "votes for idiot, cries when idiot ruins their livelihood" is very tiresome. Particularly when they are so anti-'handout.'

I don't have the spare bandwidth to think much less argue about the interpersonal ethics of platform moderation.

All I know is the fragmentation of social media back to pre-MySpace formulations like BBS and IRC-likes isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Just let me know where the space lesbians are at.
