Same, and I think this is good, but eastern Nebraska and all of Kansas need some work. I'd put a zone above KC and up to and incl. south Eastern Nebraska. Really distinctive area that does not have the heartland feel at all. But south eastern KS does. Also, I'd put a slice across the center of KS.

I don’t mind the word “spice,” being used in place of sex or romance or intimacy or erotica.

It’s the way the word is said that can bother me. If you say “spice” with disgust or a judgmental tone, like you’re better than those who read smut, I despise you and your literary snobbery.
