I did a thing this morning. Running for one of the library trustee positions in town.
Our town clerk was very enthusiastic and helpful, and asked if she could be the first person to sign my nomination papers. (heck yeah!)

Soooo we're fostering mama and kittens at my house now. My parents are in their 70s, and once the kittens get big/bold/mobile enough to get in the rafters of the barn, they'd never get them down. Thus, I now get to do kitten snuggles multiple times a day.

Robins built their nest in the bush growing beside our pool gate, so now I go through the back gate to swim so I don't disturb parents and babies. Am apparently still extremely sus.
