The main thing I'm noticing that the English dialogue in the remake is make up of much shorter sentences in general.

Not bad per se, but I wonder how much of it was driven by the expectation that the lines were going to be voiced, so longer lines would mean more money.

Oh this is one of the differences in the new localisation.

It was Esmelas Tower in the original. I looked around though and it seems this is actually an inconsistency from Falcom themselves.
The OG Japanese called it Jade Tower (Hisui no To) in the dialogue but "The Tower of Esmelas" on the map.

Oh this specific font, it's the same one used in Fate/GO and I think Xenoblade 2 and 3 as well. It seemed familiar.

It feels a little jarring to play this with nearly 20 years of gameplay improvements.

They sure spent a lot of time panning the camera around her chest

Oh dang. Well that's a strong vote of confidence then.

I have played the entire series upto this point so I wonder if they added any more references to other games in the series. I'd enjoy that.

Seeing NPC animations reused from older Trails games

I'm glad my new laptop can handle playing this at 1080p 100 fps.

I can't put my finger on it but the overall look and feel of the game reminds me of Atelier Ryza for some reason.

I actually played the original Sky FC in 2021, so this is nostalgic for me in a way.
