People with power and connections can also highlight people who annoy them in a way that seems polite but is a toxic way to weaponize moderation or other tools against a critic of theirs. This is significantly more toxic than tone to me. Everyone can block an annoying user, most can’t unban a user

I believe context and content are both more significant than tone. Someone can very politely call for a group of people to be murdered and a user with a hostile following can quote a post in a seemingly benign way that actually targets the user for harassment

Unfortunate update: Link reached out to BlueSky and got email back now on reason.

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

Here are the screenshots he just sent me as of 8:22 AM EST(my time)

Some partners have had better luck by focusing on stroking the inner thigh instead of dealing with the genitals. Also being a stone top can kinda sidestep the issue, but that doesn’t work for most people or relationships
