Day 138-141: Wrote my senators re: cuts to SNAP/CalFresh, called @padilla.senate.gov to urge him to stop the state AI regulation ban in HR1 (@schiff.senate.gov voicemail was full), donated to the @immdef.bsky.social Detained Immigrant Bond Fund, and briefly stopped by rally in SF to stop ICE

Day 135: Going to start donating my #bitcoin earnings, starting with a donation to @unrwa.org

In hindsight I really should have donated crypto directly to charity instead of cashing it all out… I’ll have to be smarter next time

Day 128: Joined a local climate action team to learn more about / start engaging in state and federal climate advocacy. First meeting is this Friday!

Day 127: Wrote to my senators telling them to vote NO on the budget bill aka the "One Big Beautiful Bill" - I feel like I've already contacted them several times about this horrendous bill, but this time I decided to highlight the provisions that attack the power of the judicial branch

Day 126 (technically yesterday): Volunteered at my local food bank and helped bag a bunch of frozen peas (12 2-lb. bags per box)!

Day 124: Submitted a public comment opposing OPM’s proposed rule to politicize and undermine the critical expertise of the federal civil service #supportfederalworkers #resist

Day 121: Donated to Laud Alauda NGO which is providing direct cash to the most vulnerable Gazan families. Truly mind numbing that we as human beings can let things get to a point where we’re seeing posts that say “14,000 babies in Gaza could die in the next 48 hours”

Day 118: Planted 5 trees today with @sftrees.bsky.social 🌳 Then went to a wedding where I wore a thrifted dress/shoes, a jacket from a friend’s closet, and a purse I made! #diy #shopsecondhand #resistcapitalism

Day 112: Added my name to stand with ActBlue against Trump’s assault (although I also don’t love getting their spammy fundraising texts)… also started reading “On Palestine” today #resist

Day 111: Picked up this book from Codex in East Village, also happy to support a small independent bookstore

Day 110: Listened to this podcast; learned that local organizing is important (you can have outsized power in your community if you are simply organized and show up). Also, successful movements to defeat autocracy build broad coalitions often united solely by opposition to what’s currently happening

Day 108: Bought this book at the Strand in NYC. Excited to learn more about building #solidarity during these trying times

Day 105 and 106: Signed up to support solidarity organizing, and joined a group chat to connect with other solidarity organizing volunteers

Day 104: Signed the Environmental Defense Fund’s petition urging Congress to stand strong for climate

Day 103: Messaged my reps to act to protect free speech and demand an end to the unlawful detentions of Mahmoud Khalil, Rümeysa Öztürk, Badar Khan Suri, Mohsen Mahdawi, and other international students

Day 102: Today I joined the Law Day rally at the SF federal courthouse where we all reaffirmed our oaths to the constitution and the rule of law. #LawDayofAction #lawday #reaffirmtheoath #resist
