Month 9: Runelord/Inventor

I love the pure fantasy of Runelord as this vibrantly dressed knight enchanter, so designing new outfits for the class is a lot of fun. I also finished Expedition 33 right at the beginning of the month, so I may have channeled some Maelle into Chloe's pose here

Quick and messy Glossom drawing since I've been deep in the the Silksong mines the past few days. I always enjoy doing fun dancer poses, and decided to loosely channel the tambourine kicking Esmeralda ballet variation for our beloved dance duelist

Month 8: Starseer/Conjurer

I'm sorry conjurer, but starseer is too much fun to design new outfits for. The gold and purple make the job outfits look so regal and fantastical in a way that the more religiously grounded conjurer attire isn't

I like the choice to have Gonska and Pardis paralleling Kefka and Gestahl for the FFVI collab. I hope that either it goes into a Gonska takeover AU (like the Triangle Strategy collab stuff) or actual Kefka comes in to clown on everyone

I love Eliza. She's great in OT1, giving a peek into the Knights Ardante as well as H'aanit and Z'aanta's prior adventures; and in CotC Eliza has endlessly enabled my love of spamming big elemental attacks (usually as backup, but her whole kit is great to have in a pinch)

That's fair. Playing FFVI, Locke's a fairly upbeat character and you only really get the tragedy late into the game

And yeah Scarecrow would also fit very well as with Locke esp if they go the more tragic route

Up until the DQ collab I've been very unsure if octopath would even do monks, but I guess it's on the table now. I would hope that if they do include Sabin, they have Edgar too. I'm not too certain on who his EX should be for, but he would definitely play like the Inventor class from OT2

My top pick for a Locke EX would be Gilderoy. There's a lot of visual similarity between them already, mainly to Locke's sprites & SD artwork (stuff where he isn't covering his hair). There's also the jeweler -> treasure hunter link that could be some fun flavor

I also really hope we get a FFVI collab! I like your EX picks for Sabin, Seltzer & especially Kefka.

But I have to disagree on leaving Locke out. He's an obvious pick for a reason. He's the 2nd party member you meet after Terra, the intro to the Returners, & a key player to much of the plot
