I would hazard a guess that if a #Democratic candidate for #Congress or even governor ran on a platform of disbanding ICE and issuing arrest warrants for every “agent”, he or she would get a good share of the vote for that position based upon recent poll numbers. That’s how #toxic ICE is right now.

Look, I believe that the DPI call was correct….BUT to throw the flag there that situation where you have been letting them play (and DEN is usually as physical or more in the secondary) is questionable. The NFL could learn something from the NHL and swallow the whistles on calls at times imo #NFL

I’m in the Twin Cities flying out. Spent the evening and part of today in the metro and saw signs supporting the community and politely telling ICE they are not welcome. I also saw several brave people at work despite the risks. I don’t want to say where (no tips for ICE), but MN spirit will win out

If they were outside agitators the accents would be overblown like in the movie “Fargo”. I’ve lived in the upper Midwest (eastern ND and MN) for 30 years and I still don’t even have the full accent. These people are lifers who likely come from generations of Minnesotans.

I’m old enough to remember when the Iraq War vote was a litmus test for #Democrats. I would hazard a guess funding/defunding ICE will be the new litmus test. The younger generation will likely be on the correct side.

Something for ICE to keep in mind: when the Civil War broke out, #Minnesota was the first state to offer volunteers to President Lincoln. The captured the Virginia battle flag at Gettysburg and kept it despite requests from Virginia to get it back. Don't take "Minnesota nice" for weakness.

This morning in Minneapolis, an ICE vehicle got stuck on an icy hill in a residential neighborhood. Agents had to push the vehicles out, some almost slipping in the ice themselves.

When I was a kid (all the way back in the 1980s GASP!) we saw this sort of speech as something that happened in USSR & were paranoid about standing in line for toilet paper. Now it’s offical policy.
