And to answer your question, Santa has brought me "Arthur Ransome Master Storyteller". Not read it yet but the pictures are lovely. And I read Peter Duck last autumn before giving it to the Grandson.

Older farmers with not time to pass on their small farms and were contemplating suicide,were not feeling personally enriched I can assure you.

Ambulances where let through (in both cases I believe). The climb down will only help the small scale farmers not the wealthy people who bought land to avoid IHT. Starmer must have finally realised he was misled by his advisers about who would be affected.

It is a persistent weed for us. Long, tough roots in our most fertile veg beds. We try to avoid digging but have to dig them out. Hadn't thought of eating it!
