If I decided it was too much bother to clean my house so I moved into an igloo in Antarctica for the rest of my life, you'd think I was awful stupid.
Tech bros deciding they'd lose too much profit if they stopped destroying the Earth because they can move to Mars someday is even stupider.

I want every child in London to breathe clean air in their school.

St Mary’s Primary in Battersea is one of more than 200 schools receiving an air quality filter as part of my new initiative. Brilliant to see first-hand how they’re helping to protect young Londoners' health.

So what is the real picture?

👉 NO2 legal limits should have been met across the UK in 2010
👉 On-the-ground monitoring still shows non-compliance in London, despite DEFRA saying London complies
👉 UK legal limits are 4 times as high as WHO recommend
👉 Government needs to act to reduce #AirPollution

Do you fear you've being cheated? That your barrel of eels isn't all it seems?

Fret not! In 1483, tired of shady salesmen -- especially Dutch & Scottish ones -- Parliament decreed that a barrel of eels must be full, & hold 42 lbs. of fish.

PLUS, all the eels must be edible!

Idling engines can produce twice the emissions of cars in motion, leading to poorer air quality, particularly in residential areas with busy roads.

I visited the CleanAir Cheltenham team in Charlton Kings & am pleased to be backing its initiative to highlight the dangers posed by poor air quality.

I woke up,
and it doesn't matter that I had very little sleep.
Simply waking up after such a loud night is fantastic.
