bf has convinced me that running up to the humane society to talk them is not an aggressive move and that no one will think i’m trying to steal someone elses cat so we will be heading there in when they open in an hour. i am more stressed abt this than anything in the last 5 yrs

update- i found her. she is listed at a shelter as “found pet” and i assume not adoptable yet. i emailed to ask what the process is for if the owners dont come back,,, i WANT her reunited with loving owners but if they are shitty people. give her to me lol
so i called the vet and they said they couldnt tell me anything. they could only let me know that “it was alive and going to a shelter” and i did press like “but i was told i could call” she was like well we usually work with [shelter name]…” but thats. all the info theyd give

well I managed to catch her and take her in. she was SO skinny and dirty, I was prepared to pay for and keep her. then she had a chip. I was slightly devastated lol and her owners didnt pick up but i couldnt legally take her. so she’s getting care at the vet now, waiting to hear from the owners.

I have a twitch for my writing/art/programming. thinking about streaming my writing/art/programming for my new project, which is a VN about a boy who does cat rescue/adoption stuff, to raise funds for rescuing/adopting this stray cat in my yard. lol
