I agree, I can’t be bothered with this story. My dog died last week which may have caused my indifference but tbh the spying doesn’t seem surprising in the least.

Here in the UK too, it’s very worrying. We’re currently ‘enjoying’ a visit from the President who, I’m happy to say, is not uniformly welcome.

Thanks for this. I’m carer for my very elderly mother and get no financial support as I’m a pensioner myself. I recently had a carers assessment which was sort of useful but there’s not a lot on offer for those of us who spend 24 hrs a day 7 days a week caring for relatives.

Reading this story from across the pond sent a chill down my spine. It’s terrifying.
