This has been coming from the beginning. All major democracy-supporting NGOs and foundations have their legal complaints already drafted. And in time, perhaps not even much time, they will win their cases. What is needed most in the meantime is courage. Keep saying what you think, doing what you do.

They absolutely should examine it for the lower courts. The marshals work ultimately for the president so are insufficiently independent. NB the SCt justices themselves now enjoy the protection of the more independent Supreme Court police.
NEW: We just sent a letter to Chief Justice Roberts and the Judicial Conference urging them to examine the US Marshal Service's role in protecting judicial independence at their upcoming meeting.

Yes, I’ve said a version of this often. Agree.
I know I've said this a lot, but while things are very very scary now, it is legit terrifying to think about how much more successful a version of this regime that didn't have idiotic fixations like tariffs and was like 10% more competent and patient would be.
