You are misinformed. History remains a compulsory subject for the Junior cert. It is worrying that a growing number of people don't believe the holocaust happened but I believe this is down to the activity of bad actors and the far right on social media.

I agree the Senate should be reformed and every citizen should have a vote. The majority are currently elected by county councillors (60) only 6 by university graduates, and 11 are appointed by the Taoiseach. Most people don't realise their local clles have this power.
