Wedding gift registries or cash in the card is largely pointless these days. When folks were married late teens/early 20s and had nothing then gifts/donating money for their new life had good reason. Two middle managers marrying in their late 30s only deserve a nice card.

I think there should be a separate programme for Saturday’s GAA matches, instead of trying to cram all the highlights into the Sunday Game programme on Sunday night. There’s just too many games to properly analyse and show all the highlights.

I agree the Senate should be reformed and every citizen should have a vote. The majority are currently elected by county councillors (60) only 6 by university graduates, and 11 are appointed by the Taoiseach. Most people don't realise their local clles have this power.
