Someone else said that another key to good miniature painting is a quick wash followed by careful edging.

Just finished the audiobook of Wild Faith, by @swordsjew.bsky.social. It's simultaneously informative, heartfelt, funny, gentle, and enraging. It supports a lot of the informal research I'd been doing into the white Evangelical subculture since 2007 or so as well as that of authoritarianism.
