Mohmed Ali, Majed Mahmoud and co-conspirators were inspired by the Islamic State group’s extremism, according to a 72-page criminal complaint unsealed in federal court. Investigators say a minor, identified only as Person 1, was deeply involved in the discussions.

A new Dallas Morning News survey of 90 trans Texans found that 77 of that total have selected a “backup state” for their possible move. A total of 27 made their choice since last November. Beyond that, 76 of survey respondents said they have spoken with in-state friends or family about moving, and 57 are already saving money to fund their departure.

“The state Human and Civil Rights Commission has found The Hideout Arcade Bar & Grille, a Rehoboth Beach restaurant, violated the Delaware Equal Accommodations Law by refusing to allow a transgender individual to enter in 2023. “Kathy Carpenter Brown is a transgender individual and an outspoken LGBTQ+ advocate who is also the founder of Transliance. She claimed The Hideout's owners, Bryan Derrickson and James Botti, discriminated against her based on her gender identity Apr. 12, 2023, a Human and Civil Rights Commission decision document said. “An employee at the restaurant told Brown an ID scanner was being used to determine which bathroom patrons should be using. “A bouncer refused to allow Brown entry when she declined to allow them to scan her ID, the document said.” “The commission heard Brown's case virtually in 2024 and voted on the matter in May of this year, according to the document.” “DEAL allows for the commission to order damages and penalties. In this case, the commission ordered The Hideout owners to pay Brown $1,000 for causing her ‘emotional injury and distress.’ “They also ordered the owners pay a $1,000 civil penalty to the commission's Special Administration Fund, ‘so that the Commission can, among other things, educate the operators of places of public accommodation in Delaware that discrimination against people based on their gender identity is demoralizing to its victims and perpetuates hate and violence toward members of the transgender community.’ “All Hideout employees must undergo anti-discrimination and equal accommodations training, the commission ordered. The commission also ordered The Hideout owners to post a sign if ID scanning remains mandatory and apply the policy consistently, regardless of a patron's gender identity. "’We must stop vilifying, fetishizing and alienating people who do not conform to a birth assignment,’ Brown said. ‘It’s a birth assignment, not a life sentence.’”

The unnamed driver made the remark following April’s ruling, in which the highest judges in the country said “sex” in equality law refers to biological sex. The “just ugly” comment was quoted in a submission made by Aslef, the train drivers’ trade union, to an Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) consultation. In its submission, Aslef said: “Since the ruling, there have been examples of our members being questioned about their biological sex by colleagues to the level where one member felt the need to explain to their colleagues that ‘they are just ugly’. “We are seriously concerned that similar situations may arise where women in particular are queried about their biological sex to the extent that a birth certificate may be requested and the certificate itself even then queried further.”

The York Railway Institute (YRI) AFC under-12s have launched the 'Girls can have short hair. Get Over It' campaign after a series of complaints from parents and coaches of rival teams. In one recent incident a game was stopped because the rival team wanted to ensure that all the players were actually girls - leaving some of the York players upset. YRI AFC players Camille Porhel and Flo Topham, both 11, have short haircuts and say that going to matches now made them anxious. Flo said: 'I feel quite angry and sad when people think I am a boy, and I feel anxious about going to matches or tournaments. 'Yes it does upset me definitely because they are commenting on how I look, and I am a girl and I am just being me.'

Baggio has directed ICE to provide information about O.J.M.’s removal and the reasons for her transfer. Basic Rights Oregon said, “Trans folks are often asylum seekers, and many have endured grave harm in their country of origin due to gender identity or sexual orientation.” Basic Rights Oregon added, “Transgender individuals in immigration detention are at high risk for physical and sexual assault, denial of necessary medical care, and isolation in facilities used for punitive reasons.” The order follows a habeas petition filed by O.J.M.’s attorneys, who have claimed they could not reach her after the arrest.

That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us the would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done. Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic. When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skill of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw. While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. Lady Gaga’s team has broken their silence on the attempted attack, which authorities believe was planned by a grew that spreads anti-LGBTQ hate speech. “We learned about this alleged threat via media reports this morning. Prior to and during the show, there were no known safety concerns, nor any communication from the police or authorities to Lady Gaga regarding any potential risks. Her team worked closely with law enforcement throughout the planning and execution of the concert and all parties were confident in the safety measures in place,” a spokesperson for the singer said. “The suspects were recruiting participants, including minors, to carry out coordinated attacks using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktails,” the police said in a statement. The justice ministry said the recruiters identified themselves as members of Gaga’s global fan base, known as the “Little Monsters.” The operation to apprehend the terror suspects was codenamed “Operation Fake Monster.” According to police, the attack was planned through a social media campaign encouraging young people to attack the concert.

An FIR filed with Gomtipur police said the victim was abducted, confined and assaulted with iron rods and stabbed by her ex-lover Hitesh alias Rakesh Parmar, and his friend Bhaylu. Police said the victim’s decision to end her relationship with Parmar after finding out that he was a bootlegger prompted the attack. The recent incident happened on April 28 when she left her friend’s house on a scooter. A car intercepted her near Gomtipur Insurance Hospital, and Parmar and his associate forced her inside the vehicle. They pressured her to withdraw her previous complaint and reconcile but when she refused they drove her to an isolated location near Saraspur’s Pushkar Industrial Park. Later the duo beat her mercilessly with an iron rod and stabbed her in the chest. She then lost consciousness and the assailants dumped her outside an orthopedic hospital and fled.
