Just enjoying this insane foliage. #OFMD

Jealous of the badgers. Sounds like they act about like our groundhogs here.

Next for #OFMDReadingChallenge is Ravensong by TJ Klune. This was a solid sequel featuring a character I enjoyed. Sets up the next instalment well, so I’m looking forward to it. Prompt 2.8 a book about a found family.

For #OFMDReadingChallenge prompt 2.5 a book you think you’ll love, we have What Stalks the Deep by T. Kingfisher. Unlike the fantasy novels, I love everyone in the Alex Easton universe. In this one, the monster is secondary to the horrifying real dangers of the coal mine itself, but it still worked.

Catch up time for #OFMDReadingChallenge!
Swordheart by T. Kingfisher for prompt 2.1 a book with a beautiful cover.
The storyline was done well with good pacing, but Kingfisher characters are kind of hit and miss for me. Everyone in this one was kind of meh.

The movie “Poltergeist”.

#OFMDReadingChallenge prompt 1.7, a book with an orange cover.
Pony Confidential by Christina Lynch is delightful. It’s funny and whimsical along with serious messaging about animal cruelty and the US criminal justice system. It just really worked for me. Plus, pony is the hero we all deserve.

For prompt 2.2 in the #OFMDReadingChallenge (and keeping up with the green covers) I have Key Lime Sky by Al Hess. I enjoyed the originality of the plot and everything was resolved well. I adored Denver, the MC, but cannot say the same for all the lead characters.

I always forget about this one, probably because I black out whenever I see it.

I have, but it’s been years. Probably due for a rewatch.

Went to find a pic of Raul Julia as Gomez and happily found this instead.

I have no idea why I’ve only been reading green covers lately. My current read even has the word “lime” right in the title.

#OFMDReadingChallenge
All of Us Murderers by KJ Charles for prompt #2.3 a second chance romance book. No spoilers, but I enjoyed how the MC’s were able to work on their second chance while trapped in the dark, gothic, murder-house. Why are gaslights so much creepier than candlelight?

This is one of my favorites. The cravat around Ed’s ring finger and the red silk around Stede’s is just…..

Then, there’s Wolfsong by TJ Klune which was one that’s been sitting on my shelf for a while, and I enjoyed finally delving in to it. This was for the #OFMDReadingChallenge prompt for a book featuring shape shifters.

For the #OFMDReadingChallenge prompt for a book with plants on the cover I had the Austen Affair by Madeline Bell which combined regency era with time travel, two subjects I enjoy.

It must be somewhat of a hidden gem, and I’m sure your lovely podfic will bring more eyes and ears to it.
