I appreciate these shows because they often provide a welcome respite from the chaos and absurdity. Insisting that every show must center around comedy is no different from the mindset a decade ago, when critics dismissed any cartoon lacking lore as inferior.

42.) Nickelodeon dropping Miraculous after a year was a good thing, because Disney Channel is a far more fitting place for that show.

33.) Rocko’s Modern Life is the superior over-the-top NickToon of the early 1990s. Even if you ignore its predecessor’s awful creator, it has more consistently inventive craziness than Ren & Stimpy and more of a point to its insanity compared to that other show.

32.) While the 2017 reboot is indeed a masterpiece, there’s still enough appeal in the original animated characterization of the core Disney universe to make the first incarnation of DuckTales worth watching in the present day, too.

Agreed, and from what I saw of the new series so far, it feels more like the early episodes and less like the later ones
