One of my favorite log entries in all of games is from Metroid Prime, where the Space Pirates announce "The Hunter has made Planetfall", and it's an all-hands red alert call to arms.

Not only is it a realistic alert that would be sent out, it sells Samus' status as a real threat in a few sentences.

It's absolutely abysmal; if you're being asked to analyze things like earnings reports, know something about a game you're writing about, and have any understanding of context, it's far below minimum wage for the hours worked, bordering on abusive.
