Oh, for goodness sake! Kristi Noem was here in Portland yesterday! Roll tape! She was on top of the ICE building proclaiming that the guy in the chicken suit was “so uneducated.” Gleaming windows of the buildings nearby. Not a sheet of plywood in sight. Blue skies, 80 degrees!

I’ve often thought that the percentage of hardcore MAGA worshippers was about 25% of the GOP. This tracks. These are the people who would still vote for & adore Trump even if he shot someone on 5th Avenue. They will weep & wail & cut themselves when he dies.

I live near Portland, & admittedly am not always a fan of everything that happens in the city, but THIS is freaking fantastic! Portland has been doing protests since the ‘60s. it’s part of the culture (oh, another protest “yawn”). This exceeds effective! Well done, my fellow Oregonians!

Blumenthal did serve in the military for six years as part of the Marine Reserves. However, his statements regarding his service during Vietnam were misleading, inferring deployment to Vietnam. That’s a bit of a difference.

My 93 yr old mother lives in assisted living less than 9 miles from the ICE building in Portland. If the city was indeed burning to the ground, I’d have already moved her to safety. This morning she’s visiting with her friends at breakfast and then going to exercise class.

See the blue line? That line delineates public from private property. I have not seen any video showing protestors crossing the blue line onto private property, but I have seen ICE officers cross onto public property to intimidate, harass and basically bait protestors.
