and then it lets me drop suuuper fine lines by like, working with just that tiny bended tip. of course it's the brush that does it by accident, right?? 😂

here, i got them all wet and took a pic so you can see what they all look like, and you can see the little bend in the one on the far right!

welp, your question reminded me that i totally did use some ultrafine ink pen in there as well, so that's some of the fine detail work! but i have a bunch of tiny brushes that i just kind of pick up and play around with. here's a pic of them, hopefully with helpful details visible!

i am SO grateful that i was able to pick up a frame as a pinch-hitter. making a frame for each kiss project has meant the absolute world to me. 💜

got my fancy custom wrist brace today for my possible avulsion fracture/definite sprain and had to make it ed-coded, of course. the person who made it said that the black/purple combo is her favorite—excellent taste!

this was in the entryway of the vrbo i stayed at for the conference i was at last week. small print summarized, i was staying in a townhouse built where stevie nicks’s mom previously lived and ran a fleetwood mac gift shop! fuck gentrification but also OFMD is everywhere if you want it to be!

It was named Fleetwood because of its ties to the great Stevie Nicks. Six multi-level townhouses were constructed in 2021 and finished in 2022. Fleetwood 2 is the townhome that you are looking at right now. It is a rock-themed 4-story home that pays tribute to the great Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac and all of the great musical legends of the 70's.

a photo of an archaeopteris plant fossil from the devonian era, which was between 419.2 million and 358.9 years ago. the image is of a dark fossil of a fern-like plant on a light colored piece of stone with a black background. from a website describing the fossil itself: This is a frond on Archaeopteris, a tree-like plant with leaves like a fern. First named from a woody trunk named Callixylon over a hundred years ago based on material from Russia, it was thought to possibly be similar to fern-like leaves that were found nearby known as Archaeopteris. It took some 60 years to demonstrate that both were indeed from the same plant, and that plant bears characteristics found in no extant type. It was established as a taxon that was transitional between the true gymnosperms and the ferns. The reverse shows a number of additional plant fragments. [oddly enough i, too, am partially based on ancestral generic material from russia.]

yes! it’s by a company called pyrrha and their work is inspired by old wax seals. i was able to snag one before they discontinued this particular design. it came with this description:
