Making a conlang is fun!
Just found a working way to turn my basic glyphs into 2 and 4 stroke compound glyphs.

I’m starting to second-guess my plan on combat for my project.
The issue I have is with the role it serves in gameplay - I want it to be an option that’s equal in weight to avoiding threats or bailing, and only occasionally necessary. (ex: bosses)
But I don’t want it to be a stealth game either. :/

Found this article on modular buildings using triangular trusses: www.sbcacomponents.com/media/new-mo...

I think it’d be pretty easy to set up since I can extract a triangulation from the voronoi graph i’m using.

Slowly figuring out how to do tessel8r’s godray shader.
Should have a prototype done in a couple days if it goes well.

Got the sampler working and hooked it up to some of my other code bits yesterday.

Full pipeline is:
SDF tree -> sampler -> pointcloud editor -> geometry builder

It’s going to need a bit of tweaking to really sell the “floating island” look, but we’re making progress.

Got the poisson sampler working, so now I should be able to load in some sdfs and generate islands from them using the voronoi tile system.

I think I’ll start posting progress updates for my projects over here as well.
I heard bluesky is better for art things, so we’ll see how it goes.
