I've always called this an ibrik, which is the Turkish name, because I only knew about it for making Turkish coffee, which has sugar involved in the brew... do you use sugar in your cezve?

problem is steam pressure delivers boiling water to the ground coffee, which means it's brewed too hot, destroys the flavor oils and leaves it harsh and bitter. I don't know a single person who drinks moka pot coffee without milk or sugar

it's a stretch to say that the anger at Musk/DOGE was over "funding cuts" as opposed to things like "feeding USAID into a woodchopper" and the rampant lawlessness

there's 1 registered Republican in NYC for every 7 registered Dems. but it's more like 1 Trump voter for every 2 Kamala voters. Do the math: it's Trump-voting Rs who register as Ds to influence the assumed conclusive Dem primary, that are voting for Cuomo.
