Today I finished and framed a tatting project that is very near and dear to me. And hopefully my mom. The small doilies are based off my and my brothers baby blankets that out mom crocheted. The large one is based on blankets she made for us when we each moved out. It is her Christmas present.

The last part on my mom's present is on the last row! Hopefully I can get it all done in time to block the tatting and frame it before Christmas

This is another tatting project I've been working on! I had hopped to submit it to the fair but I had to fix so may mistakes I just didn't get it done. But here's the half way point!

This is a doily I made and submitted to the state fair where I live! I wanted to submit more but wasn't sure I would be able to and it was limited to one this size. My larger ones just weren't done in time

I made this for my mom! It's part of her Christmas present I hope she liked it 😊

Posted this a while ago then "organized" my threads and lost the gray one I needed. Thankfully I had ordered two and it was the same dye lot so it matched. All that's left is my least favorite part of tatting, sewing in the ends. I even know how to avoid doing so and still end up needing to. Oh well

Maybe my first attempt at blocking with a doily I should have finished and handed over 4 years ago isn't the best. But I am this much closer to giving it to the intended person. So. Yay?

I am in the final stretch of this project! Started it a while ago. Lost it. Found it. Fixed the mistakes I could. Lost it again. Found it and now I've got the last little bit of edging to do and it's done! #tatting
