Hot take, but I think if you have an audience, you are responsible for that audience because they're a reflection of you.
If folks are in your spaces harassing other people, especially on your behalf, and you choose to do nothing about it, you're letting everyone know that's acceptable to you.

Btw, a little girl (about 8yo) recognised my Loona sweatshirt so J showed her my keychains and my stickers on my computer. When she left I was torn between “that’s cute” and “How do you know who that is ? Aren’t you a bit young for that ?”

Pretty sure it would have the same impact today. Maybe not 90% but a good 50% is enough
If you’re ever surprised by how clueless we, as a people, appear to be sometimes, just remember that a scant 25 years ago The Blair Witch project came out and 90% of the population was like “holy shit is this REAL?!”
