Ill be that guy who LOVES the divisive or even most hated games as long as I walked away loving those games! I cant be bothered to align myself to anyone elses tastes except my own. These are some of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES and I'll loudly praise what these games did for me!

One of my reasons I haven't seriously made an honest attempt at Trails has been fixed with the 1st Chapter Remake. Its like Falcom solved one of my biggest hurdles, and I still squandered it. Now that window is closing again (2nd Chapter on the way and I still haven't played 1st)

I love how in Persona, a Demon is like "I want nothing more than to serve you" while in SMT that same Demon is like "GiVe Me SoMe MoNeY! nOw GiVe Me SoMe ItEmS! ThAnKs LoL F*C# YoU, I'M sTiLl NoT jOiNiNg YoU!" and proceeds to wipe you.

It was my first time playing a dungeon-crawler, having missed out on games like Shining in the Darkness and Diablo, and SMT (the series) was still Japan-only. This game had wild difficulty spikes

It was my first time playing a dungeon-crawler, having missed out on games like Shining in the Darkness and Diablo, and SMT (the series) was still Japan-only. This game had wild difficulty spikes
People who expected FFVII Remake 3 to show at the Game Awards even though its director and writer stated "they'll decide on a title by the end of the year" days before should have tipped ya'll off that yeeeeah, this game isn't showing up this year when they're still settling on it's official title 🙄

Two co-workers came to me today to show me their PS4/5 2025 Review stats, acting ashamed to show me their low numbers like I'm some hardcore judgemental gamer. Like, dude(s) I already showed them MY low stats, its not THAT big a deal! Just play games by YOUR OWN metric, not to impress others!

Sometimes feels like there's too many gaming spaces online trying dictate how you should be consuming and enjoying things. Play what you want and how you want. Not saying these spaces are inherently bad because communites can be important. But you don't always need to fit in just to feel seen.
