AKA 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔉𝔦𝔠𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝔐𝔞𝔠𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔢.

Gestalt being. Producer & creator of music, words, etc. Gender fluid & Omni. Fine with They/Them, He/Him, She/Her; just not "it".
Personally using We/Us or I/Me interchangeably, as fits mood.
As I said...

I mean, this is a guy who had to have Peter Parker teach him how to poop so...

I don't know if "allowed" is the word... It's essentially indentured servitude with the government watching your every move.

A national strike or boycott will NOT work against militant fascists in a country of 340 million people. This is not the Civil Rights struggle. They've been planning this for 40+ years and they already have all the money.

You don't stop evil with posterboard signs.

I think this will summarize the people you're talking about:

What's lasagna? And how does it feel when sat upon?

You said Anything.

Ooh. Boycotting. That'll really scare the armed fascists into retreat.

Hi. "Voting isn't going to save us" folk here.

We've said, in as many words as allowed on a public platform, what will save us.

The problem isn't that we aren't saying or indicating what needs to be done; The problem is that people are UNWILLING to do it and instead pretend it's business as usual.

👆Not directed at the comic, but at people who whine and bristle every time a computer generated image appears.

That comic panel is asking a lot of America's goldfish memory.

What most people are missing is that Trump is not the problem. He's a wart on the outside of the problem. He's the showman in front.

The real villains are Stephen Miller, Heritage Foundation, and their ilk. They set the policies & pull the strings. They have the plan to transform America into NK.

That have been better off replacing that one with a blooper reel.

I'm obviously not going to describe it in detail for you, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

This is what I'm talking about in my previous thread... This was Waititi in parenthood mode, child-proofing his movie for his kids.

Many directors do this in the years between the birth of their children and their children's adolescence.
January 27, 2026 at 1:39 PM
They never quite go back to exactly the way they were before they had kids, but there's that period after becoming a parent for a few years where they just lose their mind (and edge) with the parenthood thing, and that ~mostly~ repairs itself in time.

Almost every director has a movie like this.
January 27, 2026 at 1:36 PM
The good news is that most creators snap back to their former self once their kids reach adolescence.

The preciousness and magic of childhood becomes the hair-pulling frustration of raising a teenager and it comes out in their films, stories, and music.
🧵
January 27, 2026 at 1:36 PM
And a tale about a horrifying god killer changing reality becomes a whimsical tale about the preciousness of children... Well, that's what I'm talking about.

He child proofed his movie. He was in parent mode. He was high on his love for family, and softened his approach. It happens. 🧵
January 27, 2026 at 1:36 PM
I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing. We get some good art out of this that focuses on family and parenthood; Like the movie "Parenthood" for example.

However, when you're tasked to write an action-packed film about the God of Thunder facing his greatest challenge...
🧵
January 27, 2026 at 1:36 PM
The tales they weave are then all about parenthood, and their song/movie/book becomes a thing for their kids' sensibilities. They childproof it like their house: sharp edges are covered up, shocking things are blocked, and language is softened. They Change at their core, and the work reflects it. 🧵
January 27, 2026 at 1:36 PM
... And suddenly they think nothing is more important in the world and more precious on Earth than Parenthood, and children, and that becomes the central focus of their work.

Their wit is less biting and they take fewer chances. They become hyper-focused on how sPeCiaL it is to be a dad/mom... 🧵
