Xerian pats his ship while Jakob looks a bit awkward at the turn of the conversation. Xerian: "...I don't want Chadwick d-dead, but knowing he's free to kidnap more robots or androids... That wouldn't sit well with me either. Is he at least in prison? On probation or something?" Jakob: "That's, uh... Complicated. It's kind of... All three." Xerian: "What?! D-dead, imprisoned AND on probation?!" Jakob: "You'll see..." Jakob presses a button on his wrist communicator. Short afterwards, a shiny black robot jaguar pads into the room. Panther: "Yes... Sir...?" Jakob: "Xerian, meet C-HAD." Xerian stares at the robotic panther, appalled Xerian: "Oh... OH. I'm so sorry..." Jakob: "As I say, Valmorath wanted him dead. But Daryil was the most recently aggrieved, so they allowed him to choose the manner of Chad's death." Jakob: "And more to the point, what should happen to him AFTER his death."

I was in bed with a migraine most of the day and every time I cracked my eyes open this angel boy was curled up beside me. I love him so much. Fergus is genuinely kind in a way I've never seen in a cat before. He's so polite and considerate and just wants everyone to be happy. Just the nicest boy 😭
